A high quality solvent based emergency leak repair coating that is suited for use on all building surfaces which need immediate repair to stop leaks. Rainshield seals and waterproofs roofs on a temporary basis, however bad the weather.
MULTI-SURFACE USE - Rainshield is a high-quality solvent-based emergency leak repair coating designed for immediate use on various building surfaces including flat roofs, pitched roofs, weathered asphalt, gutters, concrete, brickwork, GRP and fiberglass, metal, and more Not for use on wooden surfaces, tanking, fishponds or internal use.
INSTANT WATERPROOF PROTECTION - With just one coat, Rainshield creates a temporary waterproof coating, instantly waterproofing exposed surfaces. Immediate waterproofing allowing for urgent repairs even in adverse weather conditions.
WET WEATHER APPLICATION - Rainshield is the ideal solution for emergency situations by allowing application in wet conditions, including rain and even underwater. Its unique formulation enables application even in falling rain, ensuring that repairs can be carried out promptly without waiting for the weather to clear.
TEMPORARY SOLUTION FOR URGENT REPAIRS - Rainshield serves as a reliable temporary fix for leaks, providing quick and effective repair on a wide range of building surfaces. While it is not a permanent solution, it offers immediate protection by stopping leaks and preventing further damage.
Application Details
Preparation
- Clear all area of moss, lichen and debris by brushing to remove surface water and any other contaminants such as Oil or Grease.
- Stop the leaks as much as possible.
- In cold conditions any ice present on the surface must be removed.
Application
- Apply a generous coat of RAINSHIELD Emergency Leak Repair Coating by Pouriing, Brush ,Roller or squeegee at the spreading rates stated.
- Preferred method of application is by pouring RAINSHIELD Emergency Leak Repair directly onto the area.
- Best results are achieved when “stippled” into cracks and rough surfaces, apply liberally to bridge small holes up to 1/8 inch( 3mm) and larger use a reinforcement scrim, embed in the first coat so that greater protection is offered, then put another coat on top to aid in stopping the leaks further.
- Recoat again when able to waterproof further in the short term.
